Destination Design: Elevating Tourism Retail with Innovate Spaces

Our tourism and hospitality projects aim to create unforgettable experiences through thoughtful design. We enhance the functionality and aesthetic of hotels, resorts, and other visitor spaces, ensuring every guest encounter is exceptional.

Enhancing Visitor Experiences

We prioritise comfort and exploration in our bookshop and student accommodation projects. We create spaces that encourage learning and personal growth, with cosy reading nooks and communal areas that inspire interaction and exchange.
Reimagining Shannon Airport

The revitalisation of Shannon Airport was envisioned to transform it into a world-class gateway, reflecting the warmth of Irish hospitality and showcasing local culture through a modern, efficient design. The goal was to create a memorable entry point into Ireland that not only streamlines passenger flow but also maximises retail opportunities, particularly showcasing local Irish brands.

Reinventing the General Post Office

The General Post Office, an emblematic site of Irish history, was envisioned to become a cornerstone of cultural heritage tourism in Dublin. Synnott Design focused on revitalising the GPO with modern amenities while preserving its historic essence, turning it into an interactive hub that educates visitors about Ireland’s past with the latest technology.

A New Look at the Cliffs of Moher Experience

The vision for the Cliffs of Moher was to enhance the natural visitor pathway with educational and retail opportunities that are seamlessly integrated into the environment, providing a memorable experience that encourages visitors to take a piece of Ireland home with them.

The Transformation of Newbridge House

The vision was to revitalise Newbridge House by creating an accessible, educational experience that integrates opportunities for visitors to purchase unique, locally-sourced souvenirs. The vision aimed to transform Newbridge House into a destination that not only educates but also engages visitors in the rich historical narrative of the estate.

Bunratty Folk Park Retail Theatrical Transformation

Bunratty Folk Park, nestled in the rich tapestry of Ireland's history, aimed to transform its visitor experience by marrying theatrical designs with the park's unique cultural heritage. Synnott Design was tasked with creating an environment that not only invokes excitement and curiosity among its visitors but also enhances the park's ability to create memorable experiences. The vision was to craft a space that elevates the traditional view of historical tourism into an immersive, emotionally engaging journey that encourages higher-value transactions.
